got the car painted

Don't have it detailed. (I'm not making this up.)
If they buff it, it'll get chalky. Clearcloat is Urethane, same as the basecoat should be; If they clearcoated a Lacquer job, (which is thicker, btw) and the buffer treats it like Urethane, you'll be chalked. Keep that warranty onhand/

It looks great. btw. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
ok I'll keep that in mind, thanks.

I've heard nothing but horror stories about paint jobs that don't cost multiple thousands of dollars, but it looks like they did a good job on yours
yeah it seems if you want decent paint job you have to spend at least 5 grand. My former boss used to own a custom shop and said that usually for show cars he charge $5-10 k and it would take sometimes up to a month to complete the job. I guess I was fortunate to stumble upon the deal I got, cause there's no runs, drips, or orange peel.
