If they buff it, it'll get chalky. Clearcloat is Urethane, same as the basecoat should be; If they clearcoated a Lacquer job, (which is thicker, btw) and the buffer treats it like Urethane, you'll be chalked. Keep that warranty onhand/

yeah it seems if you want decent paint job you have to spend at least 5 grand. My former boss used to own a custom shop and said that usually for show cars he charge $5-10 k and it would take sometimes up to a month to complete the job. I guess I was fortunate to stumble upon the deal I got, cause there's no runs, drips, or orange peel.
