The 17's looked a little small on that car. Moving up to a 19" wheel was definitely a step in the right direction. I don't think the wheel style particularly "fits" the car but to each his own. OP has a v6 stang, so I'm sure performance was likely at the bottom of his list of priorities. I doubt he's going to a track or Auto-X course where that unsprung weight is gonna hurt him.
