Ouch, glad your okay. People don't like when you take their cars. I Repossess cars, and have had a fair share of angry debtors in my face, but no guns involved, and I hope to keep it that way.

Now Joe Taxpayer has to feed, house and defend this POS. Cops should have shot him dead and spared us all the expense of dealing with his *** for years to come. The justification would have been total, no questions asked.
I've been there and done that after a fashion in regards to a repo here in Oregon about 30 years ago. A rural redneck neighborhood night time setting...people ominously gathering...some abusive stupid drunk idiot who hadn't made a single payment on his $295 1968 Ford XL after being given it easy for $100 down...6 months after the sale we're there to pick it up.

We get the car and get out of there. He winds up following us to the car lot and aims a rifle at my partner. The old guy watchman comes out of his trailer and gets the drop on the redneck drunk. The guy runs back to his car and leaves.

He's lucky it wasn't me with the gun getting the drop on him.

Glad everyone is OK.

I have no problem with shooting/killing those that deserve/need it but in such a case it is better to take him/her alive.

I am certainly not going to whine about dealing with boneheads at my job today...lol...not even close to this.

There is no update, he is still jail on $500,000 bond awaiting teh trial.

Talking about this in a thread earlier reminded me that we have court for this guy in August. He plead not guilty by reason of insanity. Says the pills were to blame. We'll see.
