heh i had a simular thing happen to me. i sold a guy a w3v2 and a hifonics zx6000 amp i offered to hook it up and build a box but he said he had friends that knew what they were doing. heres a list of what they did wrong

1. particle board box with a hole in it for a port (no pvc or anything just a hole)

2. only 1 vc was wired its a dvc sub

3. ran 8 gauge from battery through the door jam to the amp(you could see the wire from the outside of the car)

4. had golf flubs laying on top of the sub

5. the power wire somehow arced and burnt part of the sub due to poor connections

6.had stray ground wires sticking out of the amp

7. didnt clear off ground just hooked it to a painted location.

8. there were cut off speaker wires sticking out of the amp

9. only hooked the sub to one side of the amp when it shoul have been bridged.

he told me i sold him a bad amp and he wanted his money back. i told him to piss off and that his friends were morons.

but for your case just show up to his door with your friend mr louis ville slugger!

look if i was you i would get the L7 and the box and **** up his car steal whatever the car has that is valuable to repay you for your loss also my friend sold me his L7 and a prefab box and he never had a problem with me not paying him i have only payed like 1/4 and when i received it i knew that it was working so theres no complains beat the lying hell out of that person if not send one of your friends to steal the L7 if i was where u where i would help you out with the situation just for the funn of it beat his dads **s too lol
