Got Bass?
A while back I had sold a reconed L7 to this kid that lives not too far from here. I built him a custom box for his Avalanche and all, I just didn't wire his system it was wired from a previous install. I was told from the time he installed the sub it wasn't working correctly. I know the voice coils were wired correctly because I did it myself. He apparently took it to some shop where they told him they would fix it. I guess they did something to it and it worked then cut out completely. They told him I sold him a bad sub. He called me up and told me this. I know it was working when I sold it to him so I was away at the time and had a friend of mine go check it out for me. The sub was wried using a different wire then I used to wire it. I imediatley called the kid and told him that she shop had changed the wiring on it. Feeling bad I offered to pay for 1/2 the cost to fix it. He asked if I had anything that I could lend him just until the L7 was fixed. Trying to do the right thing I let him use 2 of my Comp VRs. He told me that a shop was "repairing" the sub and would be done soon. I hadn't heard back from him for a while so recently I had been calling and IMing him but he never responded until today. I find out he didn't feel like paying for the sub to get fixed so he traded my Comp VRs to get the L7 back... I asked him for money but he is refusing claiming that I sold him a bad sub. I try doing the right thing by offering to pay for half of the repair and lend him my subs. In the end I get screwed... What should I do now? I'm about to go to his house and punch him in the face.
