got scammed on ebay, anyone got info?

Did you send him cash or did you use a credit/debit card? If you used a card, then call the credit card company & dispute the charge. They will rule in your favor, giving you ALL of your money, and PayPal can do nothing about it but go after the scammer. definatly keep buggin the bank and dont take no for an answer from them.

they will return your money and paypal will get stiffed and then in the end they go after the buyer. 5,800 is alot of money

go to http://www.paypalsucks.com and see what else you can find out. if you dont really try they will stiff you.

and dam what pioneer did you get the 1080 p one? thats the only one i think is worth paying that much for. espeacially for a 50"

thanks, i'll check it out...yea its a 1080p plasma, its for my DAW in my studio, because right now i have a 30" LG monitor, and the distance i sit back makes it hard to watch my wave's so im going to mount a large plasma right above the mixer for tracking and mastering tracks...just a little icing for the cake...music is the only thing i spend money on, and my family of course haha

The thing is, Paypal is going to stiff you regardless. When you file a claim with your bank, your bank will refund you your money in full. Paypal is not going to go after the seller, they are going to go after you. They'll put your account in the negative and try to collect on the balance. They did the same thing to me. The only way I could shake them was to change my email address and bank account, and start a new Paypal account. Now I only use them for small purchases where I have to use them. (i.e. buyer only accepts paypal)

well i have $2,300.00 in my paypal account today, so thats a little better...my wife said that a packet came from my bank, so im guessing its some kinda forms and info or something, might be getting better in my favor
