got scammed on ebay, anyone got info?

That's how mine worked, it took a few days to update. I'd suggest you read the paypal dispute terms/faq so you know what you're up against and/or can defend yourself if need arise.
yea ive read everything several times just to make sure, and thats where i read that maybe only a portion of the money maybe refunded..we'll see

good luck getting your money back through paypal, but most likely you won't see anything. i was ripped off for $1300 about year ago buying a laptop. paypal sent me $175, and i never saw the rest of the money. i would definately try your cc company though, especially if its a reputable company like wachovia, ect... i contacted wachovia a couple days ago because this taco bell charges my account twice, and the money was back in my account the next day.

well see thats the thing, i used my visa debit card, which isnt technically a CC, however they told me that they would review it aswell and stated that they would get into contact with paypal ( i sent in all of the documents ), and i believe that the sheffis dept. contacted me based on the bank's footwork...so its limbo time...

i got a letter today from paypal, it stated that they have ruled in my favor, and i will look for a refund of $2,300.00 (why its only this amount i dont know) and then the letter said that if he does not have the funds i will not receive anything...WTF? haha paypal just lost ma points in my book...

Debit cards that carry a credit card's logo (MasterCard, Visa, etc) carry the same protections that an actual credit card issued by that same company would. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

If it ends up that you get stiffed by PayPal (and unfortunately is sounds as if you're going to //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif) then call Visa and tell them you got scammed and they should make it right.
