ok, so as I was driving through a long street i passed by a cop who had pulled over another vehicle, whilei passed through him, i had my music a little too high... but I figured he wouldn't try to get me since he was in a traffic stop. But like 2 minutes later he catches up to me and follows me, right in back of me for about a mile, he then finally pulls me over. He stated that he pulled me over because I had loud music in the long street 5 minutes before. When I recieved my ticket I noticed that he put that the violation occured at the place he stopped me, not the place where i had loud music.

1)Can I fight it? He put the wrong info and that means i get excused right?

2) Can't I just say while i passed through him i was not driving, that my friend was but we got to his house and I got on the drivers seat, and thats when he caught up and pulled me over?

3) Should I just pay that fine? :/

well its just common sense to slow down and turn your music down when you see a cop anywhere.

im sure you could fight it if you hired a lawyer but you might as well pay it off, and he can pull you over anywhere he wants i would think as long as its not hours after you commited the crime.

and you can lie all you want to try to get by it but at the end of the day its his word verus yours and you know who they ( the court ) seem to believe......

i wang mine full tilt past cops most of the time and have yet to be pulled, i guess ours just dont care. lol. Its decently loud when im going down the road too so im sure they hear it. But whats the worst that could happen if you fight it? You pay it right? In CA theres no telling how high the ticket is though, ours is like 15$

depending on the cost of the fine.

for me they are about 80 bucks. i just pay it because it is worth it just to not have to take the time to fight it. PS: my last ticket was march of 08. i learned my leason after a total of 13 + ticket in less then 6 month.

like the guy above me i used to NEVER have a problem. then once i broke the 150 mark i guess i reached the limit they are willing to accept.

if you where playing rap you will lose. on the other hand I was stopped once about ten years ago but when the cop realized it was Charley Daniels playing he said "carry on"

2) Can't I just say while i passed through him i was not driving, that my friend was but we got to his house and I got on the drivers seat, and thats when he caught up and pulled me over?
LOL ya that will work, are you even old enough to drive you sound like a 12 year old
