Yeah. Most guys start out with 14ga, girls start with 12ga because of the larger size and more stress their nipples are subjected to...anything much under 16ga and you start getting the "cheese slicer" effect, where the ring simply slides out of the nipple under normal wear and tear.

That happened with a 12g to one of my ex's nipples, took about 4 months, but it just slowly migrated out.

i stretched my tongue when i had it pierced from 14 gauge to 10 from 10 to 4 and from 4 to 0....did all the stretching myself....wasnt as painful that way.

I'd never personally get a piercing, but certain guys can pull it off I spose.

I dont mind a small tat on a girl in the right spot, nothing to *****-ish though...
