Jack's right the second is worse. And was it just me or did the clamps hurt worse than the piercing its self? Also did your shest feel like it was on fire for a while?

The clamps didn't hurt at all for me. Maybe I was too distracted by who was piercing me at the time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif She could touch my nipples anyday...getting them gauged by a taper hurt worse than the initial piercing.

If I wear a really heavy shirt, and it's very windy, it still feels like it's on fire - part of reason I want to go CBR's instead. I have the option for lower-profile jewelry if I don't want the bother. I thought when she had the clamps on thats when she pierced it but i wasn't that lucky //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I didn't look down at all and just looked straight ahead because i figured that would only make the pain worse if i saw her stab the needle in me. After the intial pain which only lasted 30 seconds it was just really sore but i wouldnt' say it was like a "fire" feeling just more like someone that had twisted my nipple over and over again...best way i can describe the feeling. The next day though it wasn't sore at all to me,execpt when i caught my shirt on it then it hurt. Did you use just that benzadine(sp?) to clean it or did you use sea salt also?

Once mine healed the extra sensation went away, now it's like I never had them done, until someone pulls on them.

I cleaned mine with hibbiclens, an anti-microbial soap and I also did the sea salt soaks. they're actuall not very annoying, esp once you figure out how to get the cups to stick to your chest, just put them on and watch some TV...

What cups? Do you have a link so i can see what your talking about. I have the sea salt but i haven't used it yet because i wasn't sure if it would just irritate my piercing and do more harm than good. Only part that sucks is that it takes 4-6 months to heal before i can change out this steel barbell to something different.

I used shot glasses...perfect size.

The initial piercings healed for me in about three months; at the end of that I went back to the shop and got them tapered to 10ga. Had them like that for the rest of the year, until over the summer when I got them tapered to 8ga, where they're at now.

The 8ga stretch was a little picky, it got infected in September - but a few weeks of regular cleaning and it's fine now.

Thanks Jack and undercover... Dont' they pierce you with a 14 guage to begin with jack? Do you have pictures of your 8g jack? Just curious to see the difference in the size between my piercing and yours to see if i want to get it in 4 months.

I used medicine cups from robotussin, they were light enought that I could stand up and they wouldn't pull off.

Also, I never got tangled with my ex... those were fun times.

Yeah. Most guys start out with 14ga, girls start with 12ga because of the larger size and more stress their nipples are subjected to...anything much under 16ga and you start getting the "cheese slicer" effect, where the ring simply slides out of the nipple under normal wear and tear.
