got my maw metered

went today to the local shop to get my shit checked out and metered it while i was there. i had a 139.* -- off a single 12" maw and a 400.1 kicker -- sealed. once i get my ported i know ill be closer to the 145's (thats my goal with a single 12" setup is atleast 145)

ahhhhh 145 sealed, i smell BS. the head installers car hits 143 with music with his 12"MX and 2Kw

MAW-12 is an excellent speaker, I have two in fact. However, it will NOT produce 145s ported, and 139 sealed is extremely high for that speaker, let alone ported off 400 watts? The type of meter is imperative in this situation.

i dont know what meter it was? it was small and black and ran off a laptop. i dont ask specifics on what meter theyre using i just wanted to know what i was hitting

i stand corected, i just saw 145, but still 139 sealed with any 12 let alone a 400 watt 12 is a tad on the high side. high 120s is posible

a 145 is loud. My 18"sx was doing 144's and it was pretty loud.
