look into programs such as peer guardian2 and similar programs, they scan incoming connections and block known ip's of the people that you dont want looking at your stuff. but its the unknown ones that'll get ya

If it's music you are mainly looking to download just use http://www.allofmp3.com and there alltunes software. You can get albums for just over a dollar. I am sure they break RIAA regulations, but they are based in Russia and don't give a ****. You won't be tracked by them using this service.

For movies your screwed though, unless you want **** movies, in which case just use the usual sources (BT,IRC,etc) as I have never heard of them scanning for illegal **** downloads yet :lol:

While that is true to an extent, they certainly have every right to say what you DL thorugh THEIR networks or what ports you are allowed to abuse.
