whats the limit in new york? i cant remember Colorado's but i know you can have the back windows as dark as you want i think the front windows are 28-30%. but i feel like I'm wrong.

i just texted my buddy who got a ticket for tint. he said you can have all your windows 27% in colorado or the back windows blacked out and the front windows at 70%.

at 75% tint your more than likely gonna get a ticket for a new car if they check it. most vehicles come from factory with 70% tint. new york should drop it to atleast 40%.

i don't know anybody that has gotten a tint ticket here and i know a lot of people with 5%, the cops just don't give a fuck.

35% front to rear in IL. The cops usually leave you alone if its just the back windows/rear glass that's real dark. You'll get pulled, sooner or later, if it's dark up front.

He said that 30% was the limit on the front....mine was 2.2%....

that is so weird. My tint is 30% in the front and 5%.

and I've gotten 3 warning but never a ticket. And now I haven't had anything said about it in over 3 years.

Never had a tint ticket here either. Ive had verbal warnings, but never any R&R. Ive had more warnings for my illegally tinted license plate cover than the actual windows on my car.

Limit here is back windows can be as dark as you want. Fronts can only have a strip thats 4-6" down like the windshield tint strip.

My old car was black with a dark interior. Had 5% on all the back windows and 35% on the fronts.

My current car has 2.5% on the back windows and 25% on the fronts and 2.5% on the front with a dark interior. Never been pulled over for tint yet.

It's nice. It fvcking blows trying to modify it. Took me a week to figure out my hids so they didn't throw any codes.
