Got my bass controller knob installed

After fighting with Audiobahn for 3 months I finally have the bass controller knob AND the cord, so I install it running the wires and all so the knob is in the glove box... and the stupid thing doesn't work.

When I plug the cable into the amp, you can hear the volume of the subs drop down noticeably, but the knob does not change anything.

I'm really frustrated with this stupid thing, but maybe I overlooked something. Anyone have any advice for me?

I'm about to email audiobahn about a replacement.

Is there any light damage to the remote wire? If there isn't, then I don't really know what it could be. If it's plugged into the right spot, it should just work, that's that.

the cord was brand new. I took it out of the package and plugged it directly to the amp/controller to test before i ran the wire. And it didn't work. I ran the wire anyway because i intend on using the knob, even if i have to get a replacement.

something i noticed...we really only get in arguements over rockford an jl, but it seems like when we say audiobahn sucks that people just say yea they do or DON'T HATE ON THE BAHN!!!

i assume you followed the directions on how to set it up? you have to set the gains and bass boost on the amp a certain way. read the manual and it should tell you.

if you set it up right call Bahn and ask them what is wrong.

ok, i've just read through the entire manual for my amp and the only mention it gives of the remote bass controller is a figure showing where to plug the cord in. No mention of any settings, etc.
