Got My Amp!!

Found someone with a American Bass PH4000MD on Craigslist got it for $100 so stoked I never come across good deals //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif it's pretty dang clean only 2 hair line scratches which doesn't matter, I'm just curious about how much life it has left if I opened it up to look at the internals is there any tell tale signs it's been burnt up or about to ? He had it in his trunk and just hooked up a speaker to it and blew it within a second lol cause he's broke and had to sell his subs so he blew his speaker just to prove it works xD Any tips let me know!! Search that name and you will find a long azz thread and as a "noob" you will also learn alot from it too. Long story short is Kid buys amp,Kid runs amp on little to no electrical to power the amp, Kid blows amp, Kid blames everyone but himself and even tries to burn seller! All the while lots of knowledgeable peeps on here tried to help him before he burned it up, but he knew more than they did! lol

Lots of people here will be glad to help you with any questions you may have but you need to listen to get the answers - he didnt !

He claimed the seller sold him the 4k when it was on it's last legs. He then proceeded to ONLY use ONE of the TWO pairs of power/ground inputs for the amp. He had stock electrical if I recall correctly, then proceeded to blow the amp. Afterwards, he claimed that it was the seller's fault and was going to file a claim with paypal.

I can tell how much life an amp has in it if i was the previous owner..

The kicker is he bought the amp while he still owed CSCStang money. Link to thread:
