Got my amp fixed... finally.

I bought my MA Audio 802sx off CL at the beginning of the summer for 340.00 and only then realized what it takes to power these monster amps. A few hundred later in electrical and I was still only meeting the bear minimum in power requirements. You guys warned me that without the proper alternator that it would soon go up in smoke.

Two months and yep, it started going into protect mode. So right before I handed it over for repair the guys at radio doctor threw a TL in and I was hitttin 145.9@40 hz in the windshield @ 80% of the amps capacity due to the bleeding gain.

So when I got the amp back it turns out that my lack of power wasn't the culprit. The amp had water damaged, copper wire floating around and a bad board that needed to be replaced. WTF!! How was it even turning on! And what a fckin scam of an amp.

So the repair was 360.00 and I know I didn't do any of this damaged. Moral of the story, testing an amp just isn't enough sometimes. I should of cracked it open. Now i'm 700.00 deep in an amp I could of got for less than 500.00.

Hard lessons in car audio.

And knowing what I know now I would of bought a sundown, DD or incriminator.
