Got my 12w6v3's in, wondering about a new head unit

So as the title states, I got my 12w6v3's put in today on a 1200/1 and they sound **** good as it is.

The person who put them in though was explaining to me how my stock head unit (Honda Civic 2016) is pretty crap though and not giving me the full potential of the amplifier.

Is this true? If so I'll be looking to get something new this coming week.....

If it does any EQ adjusting you are not getting it all if you have a cheap LOC

And I hope you are putting money aside for a new alternator. That amp is a power hungry *****
