Got muh truck lifted.

I lifted the new rig. It took me and my dad 14 hours all said and done. I dunno if i would do this again, but it was fun for a "first time" project. Maybe if me and my pops had done this before, it wouldnt have taken 14 hours //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Ignore the long *** u-bolts in the front, the sawzall will take care of them in the morning.

Other things to come are an 07 front clip conversion (bumpers in the garage, grill is on the way) and a temporary stereo. Ordered up some of the new boner mbquart amps to see what all the fuss is about, along with some ID CTX's. Gonna try my hand at some serious fiberglass work in a centerconsole box for a 15.

1) The avalanche is still around. Mom's enjoying it right now (with the 24's, too. Its weird seeing my old *** mom rolling around on those)

2) lift is a complete spring kit. Its marketed as a 6.5" pro comp spring lift kit, which is a +6.5" spring in the front, +5" spring in the rear on top of the stock blocks.

wasnt sure of the suspension set up in fords, only worked on chevys.

my truck is leafsprings all the way around. I believe the newer trucks are different though.
