i competed in my first iasca event today in york pa.

I was in stock 1 for idbl, and rookie 1 for SQL.

Stock 1 DBL I did 143.9 @ appx 39hz on the new AC..finished first in my class

Rookie 1 SQ i took 2nd place, several noob mistakes..

im just glad i got the w7 metered..

if you made several noob mistakes, the guy who placed 3rd must have really sucked. sounds like you did pretty well.

noob mistakes being, i had my left and rights messed up......they were reversed..i had lose wires in a few places, my ANL going from the alt to the battery was fused but the holder was just kinda chillin there, and i didnt have the wire secured every 6 inches. he said my SQ was good overall, but a few install mistakes that i can easily correct

heres the cool thing, in past competitions in this car i have gained 1 or so DB's on the TL from simply flipping the box around, so it fires in the car..so technically on the AC it could break me past like 145 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

there was a guy that had 2 15'' L7''s in the back of an xterra, i wanted to flip the box around just for shits and giggles to see if i could beat him, he did 144.2

You'd be surprised.Today I saw someone doing mid 30's on a new TL with 2 15" L7's.........they were sealed but still....................

Im not sure what kinda wattage it was seeing or the box.

this competition was weird, most of the scores ranged from 128-140 and the rookie class was PACKED. the highest was an astro van with 4 dd 15's on 4 ma audio 4000k's, then a scion with a lot of JL subs in a wall, and then the xterra and myself.
