Got Metered.. Mad!! Lol

I have some 6" aeros if you need some.

I'd just build an all out spl box...seal the sub/port from the trunk and have them both firing directly into the cabin, and tune higher and higher until you stop gaining.

man i'm glad i don't have a trunk setup...i would feel robbed...lol...i'm hittin 144s on music with one sub and 1500wrms....and i'm still disappointed..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
Well 144 is not my max spl number it was my highest number over a 30second run playing music more like bassrace. Didnt have no testones

I dont see two 9512's sealed gaining you much output, if any. My guess would be it would have less potential, not more. For sheer output, ported with a high tuning near your vehicle/s resonant freq is the way to go. And if you are wanting a lot of output sealed, look into some high xmax subs, which I dont believe is the 9500's claim to fame.
What you recommend? I'm thinkin picking up that new 15" TSNS and tune the box higher

Howmuch you want for them?

Dont sweat it man thats low tuning. Mine doesn't meter well but its loud as **** to the ear. Granite when i was last metered i was having HU problems, and my alt was almost shot. But since then I have got most my problems solved except for alt and its still loud, but im willing to bet no more than a 151 to 152 but **** it. I can shake cars anywhere withing 30yrds of me.

I recommend ported, tuned higher. I recommend tuning based on mapping out your vehicle's transfer function. That is, if sheer output is your goal, at the loss of musicality.
Its daily so i want to keep it musical im thinking tuning around 36hz

your sub sounded good though.
Thanks

**** nice haha

You need to not fvck around and just seal off and fire into the cabin. That's the only way you're going to get closer to a 150 in that car...
HAHA ya im thinking about it but im ordering a TSNS i want to try that on my amp and maybe a 4500D maybe use aeros so box is not as big and more air can travel and see what it does:) I like the single sub setup to be honest.

Meh. I never understood the whole SPL deal. It's like "I HAVE A BIGGER WANGZ0RZ!"

My subs are pretty level with the rest of my system. I never understood the point of having enough bass to completely deafen yourself. At 144db's, you'd need a huge array of high powered >100hz drivers to even keep up with the sub stage...

The substage adds a very tactile feel to the stereo. Merely one aspect of the listening experience. I like to think of it like drag racing. Many car enthusiasts would say its best to increase the over all performance of the car, cornering, braking, etc. But there's just something about making it go really really fast in a straight line too. That's one of the cool things about this hobby, you can pursue it in many different directions.
