But i am thinkin jus doin 2 12s sealed firing into cabin.

That is a good starting point. Its basically 90% box, not equipment that will dictate your score.

I would start with a different box, 45 / resin the inside, and buy some aero ports.

I was doing 145+ on music with alot less power / woofer in a trunk car.

for being tuned low that is not bad. i bet if you raised tuning to closer to your peak freq. you would gain a little bit

the room in your trunk has nothing to do with running Aeros.

Aero ports are generally just plain louder. Its proven time and time again in the lanes.

Shit like this happens all the time...Mustangs are hard to meter good on as well....i thought i was loud with my 9512 in the trunk....first time i metered i got a 139.XX...(facepalm) got it up to a 144.5 @45htz ....but after that i focused on daily....cuz my car doesn't meter well for shit!

**** 144? That sucks , I did a 142.2 with 2 Memphis 15's in a sealed box with 500 watts in the trunk of a 1987 Lincoln towncar.

I plan to get a TSNS soon so probably try one of those facing back with 2 6" aeros see what kinda numbers i do. I realize this 144 i did was basically like a bassrace since i didnt have no test tone cd to get my max spl number.

I know basscort2009 has a lvl5 15 in his trunk and just now got the 150 mark but he was using a 2k amp. Just have to try hard man Congrats though as i kinda know the feeling. I thought my 2 15 btls on the ap3000 would do at least 150 but it dont. GLWB though

ya im sure on a testone i can pull around 147 probably the 144 i did was over a 30second run on music. I figure i do the TSNS in about 4cubes net with 2 6" aeros tuned around 35hz
