i have a 2400 xtr pro and 2 12 hype r's with a new batt (stock style) and i did the big 3 and amp wiring with 3/0 welding cable. before i did the big 3 it would clip before the volts dropped below 12. and it rarely went down to 10 and the amp cut out for a split second. now i did the big 3 and i turn it up and the volts get down to10 in a hurry. but the amp dont clip anymore the bass just gets harder till it drops to low and the amp looses power and cuts out. what will fix this issue.? HO alt or batt. let me hear some theory behind voltage drops

02 accord, and i believe the alt is 70 or 90 amp or somewhere in that range, dont know for sure...everything is tight. i did it last night and doubled checked all connections...how i have it setup at the batt is regular black and red top terminals with the wire lugs from the big 3 wires on top of the metal plate and bolted. is that a bad ground spot and the power is the same way

If ur using ur stock battery than u better upgrade quick. Because accord's have a very small battery to begin with. See if that help. Also Remember since the alt on the accord isn't that great u can't be blasting it all the time, u need to let the battery get charged.

keep in mind that it does this when i first turn it on with the engine running...ill watch my volts as i turn it up and it wil just drop seriously

now will more cca on a deep cycle keep the volts and current up. my batt now is only 550 cca. but deep cycles go up to 2000 cca . would cca be the cause for me loosing power to the amp. so the batt does feed the amp even when the engine is on... and when its running i got 14.7 all day until i put my stereo on. then it just sinks like no ones business

better alt + better battery under the hood. biggest honda alts i generally see are 160ish amp unless you get a larger one to adapt to your engine. battery wise look into deka, kinetik, oddyssey.......

what do u mean power wire. where? also i hooked up a 1100 cca deep cyle battery to it with the stock one still in and it helped alot but still droped to 11.5 or so when i pushed it. atleast it didnt cutoff. and i could get alot more output out of it wiht the extra batt connected...would a 2400 kinetik work well in the rear of the car. i was thinkin bout doing that
