Got hit by noob driver, what should I expect?

**** no insurance or dl. Thats bad. Maybe you could escalate this to a lawsuit since the person had no legal right to be on the road and was there anyway.

Final news: as per case rep the car is totaled. It would cost them 6800 to fix it and the value of that car was 9600. Since that dumba$$ BF had no insurance, they will cut me a check minus deductible. And since I had that uninsured motorist coverage , at least 3/4 of deductible should be recovered. For another 1/4 I'll go to small claims court.

Today after work will go to towing place to get all my stereo stuff since they did not pay for it.

I hope it's all still there. What are they wanting to buy the car back? If they totaled it they probably won't ask but $700-$1000. That's what you should be asking yourself.
