Only thing is, I'd put SOME kind of protection over them.

I'm still trying to figure out if I can get 6 runs through the firewall, and to the back.I think I figured out the secret for the firewall.But I'm afraid of my carpet bulging and panels not going back in.Still thinking about running underneath.Pretty straight shot but I have make a small "test hole" if you will to make sure I'm not noticing anything important.

140 isnt bad for 48 ft.....hell i paid 125 for 38 ft......i have AIM in my profile but im about to get out the house and be out for alil bit at my boys finishing up the spare tire well... i'll be back later tonight

2 suggestions:

Cover it with some flex tube and/or rubber hose. Especially at any points where it will rub. And it WILL rub no matter how many wire ties you put on there.

Rerun it UP inside the frame or where ever so it's NOT the low point on the vehicle as you're looking for problems the way it's mounted.

Also looks like it's right by the rear tire and will get $hit thrown on it when driving. Either make a shield or move it.

Sorry but that's NOT a good set up you have going. Just trying to save you some problems down the line when it turns into an arc welder.

I've been doing trunk mounted batteries for 25+ years for street/drag cars and have seen ALL that can go wrong....

i dont like the outside the car idea. just asking for something to go wrong. put some kind of shield over it at least.

ya ive been looking at improment points. since i have all the runs cut with a lil slackon both ends im gonna try and get it up on a lift and see where i can better run it so it's low point isnt in the death zone if i hit a bump too hard. problemis getting around that exhaust pipe too...

as far as shielding. im working on getting something cheap/free thatll do the trick.

ya torn it all down. VW's frame are kinda like one big piece so there's NO WHERE to snake it through. exhaust is in the way....torn it all down.

gonan go through the firewall, through the center console and straight back through the car...wish i did that the first time around....... o well... hopefully in the next week or 2 i can do that
