got bad news from the doctor today

Well, just got back. **** did that needle hurt. They had to put it in the top of my hand, twice. Most painfull stick ive ever had. They insist that I drink to much, yet rarely ever do. Told me the blood work will be in in about 2-3 days so i'll know by then whats going on. Thanks for the support. And the drinking thing, I wasyoung. I havent drank in I dont know how long. So no worries there. But I remember way back when I was diagnosed that my liver looked like that of someone who had been drinking everyday for 30 years and I was only 16. Pretty shitty

I am very sorry to hear that.

This hits very close to home for me. My Dad was diagnosed with cirrohsis in 2003 and he passed this Febuary. He drank in his younger years and hadn't had a drink in the last 20 years of his life. By the time he was diagnosed it was too late.

I know your situation is very different, and I wish you the best. Not the kind of news any young man should face. Keep your head up.

I was diagnosed with Narcolepsy and discharged from the Coast Guard in December so don't feel too bad. This is why I'm looking for a new system cause it's the only thing that keeps me remotely awake while driving.
