Got an old Mac for free.

I just got an old Mac today that boots up and works. It has CD rom, and is running MacOS 8.1. I have been a PC user my whole life, so I don't know much about macs. And this one is really old and slow. lol. I don't know what to do with it. Suggestions?

I'm not looking to get rid of it completley. I don't want to just trash it. I don't know anything at all about Mac OS or the hardware, but as the field I'm going into, I will learn about it and figure it out. I might upgrade it, then sell it. I havn't made up my mind yet what to do.

It's a Performa 636CD. It's really old. It comes with a printer! Oh yea! Lol. Ebay doesn't have much to give me an idea. There is one thats a 640CD, buy it now 50 bucks.

The Macs that are built into their monitors make good goldfish tanks if you put the effort into the conversion. They are hailed as the worlds most useful Mac computers.

Yea I think im going to just salvage some parts off of it. The connectors for the mouse and the keyboard are the same as S-Video, so I think im going to make my own video cable for my laptop. The other stuff I havn't decided yet. The monitor kinda sucks, so it's not worth keeping either.
