Got an amp, looking for a sub...

So I am in search of a good sub to power with my JL Audio 250/1. I am cool with just one speaker running on it. Looking for something to work well in a small sealed enclosure. Not worried about SPL, just looking for clean sound without sacrificing all of my loudness. I would like to stay under $200, maybe $250 at the most, for just one speaker.

Hoffman's Iron Law states that with 250 watts and a small sealed enclosure, you will in fact have to sacrifice something.
