yes it is two in it and i got the amp first to complement the $hitty duals i had in there, untill i felt like upgrading, budget maybe 150 a piece buying online that is

i say go for the kappa perfects, i don't know if it is still going on but crutchfields was running a buy one get one free on them, so you could save a bunch of money at the same time. plus i think they're pretty good subs.
