Got a package: I hate UPS

I ordered a 18" Treo CSX and it came in the mail today:veryhapp:. I brought the HEAVY *** box in the house and almost broke my neck trying to get it open but I finally got it and my new baby was looking up at me and I was instantly in love:crazy:. I reach down to pick it up and its so light that it surprises me. What can I do? Can I get a new basket and recone from someone other than TREO, they are high as hello

In the outrage of the outcome I would have ran outside and bashes the first post worker I saw in teh head with the magnet

With that amount of damage, the packaging should have been heavily and visibly damaged as well. Yet your story implies you neither saw nor expected any damage till you got to the woofer itself. Was the packaging not damaged? Did you order this from an individual who may have shipped it that way?

I cant even imagine what it would have taken to do that. Did the UPS truck roll over on the freeway before it dropped it off or something.

From accounts Ive read from UPS/FEDEX employees, most of the substantial damage like this occurs from the packages falling off very tall conveyor belts while moving around in the warehouses.
