Got a package: I hate UPS

From accounts Ive read from UPS/FEDEX employees, most of the substantial damage like this occurs from the packages falling off very tall conveyor belts while moving around in the warehouses.
Or a forklift hitting a pallet of boxes, I have seen that many times.

But I like the truck rolling over story better, he should stick with that. lol

hahaha that ish is f'd up....

i remember i worked at ups for bout 2 months and the packages would always be stacked to the top of the trucks and everyone would always pull the packages out the middle so that all of the packages would come crashing down to make it easier to toss it on the conveyor.

you must of really pissed off a UPS worker with that heavy of a package....I know as of yet and I've filed a few...I've never had UPS pay a claim yet....there insurance is just a racket to get more money out of you ...unless like others stated...it was packed by a UPS store that charges an outragious price UPS will not cover the damage... at least in all my cases so far...and again I guess they could change someday....or it may be my area

that was the good ole days....

If somebody had the resources to start a new shipping company the specialized in careful shipping, and actually paid for things they broke in a timely manner. Imagine all the business they would take away from UPS and FEDEX.

I would be willing to coordinate something like that

I'm sure as a company UPS is careful about shipping........the low paid workers who actually move the shit around, not so much.

think of the forces required to break that sub like that
not if its was the top box when one was yanked from the middle...I'd hate to of been standing under it....I could see the headlines "Disgruntled UPS Worker killed by Falling Speaker" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I remember speaking with a customer buying a sub enclosure, that happened to be a UPS supervisor. Even he said they handle packages like shit.

I now try to double box most the stuff I ship.

Yes, but the company is the one that doesnt pay for what representatives of the company damage.

Our logistics manager has been using UPS for 5 years and has had claims by our customers/distributors and has yet to see any money paid for damaged items by UPS, even when there was insurance and UPS admitted the fault.

A new company can offer reasonable payment for damages that occured while in their posession.
