Got a New Puppy Yesterday.

Well, this was a wierd weekend. I had to go back to my parent's place Thursday because my dog (pound puppy, had her for ten years) had to be put down because of kidney failure. Very crappy few days.

When I get back last night, I find out that my roomate brought home a new puppy. We've been planning to get one for a while, and he payed for her about a month ago, but the timing was just friggin wierd. Anyway, on to the picsL

Her name is Bailey and she's a 6 week old pure bred Black Lab. AKC papers and everything. Roomy found the breeder and we got her for $300. She's a great little dog so far. Very friendly, not too hyper. Not to mention cute as hell.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Yeah, the dog that I had to put down was a lab/beagle mix, and my uncle had a lab for a long time. Very good dogs

We don't own the place, so I'd rather not have a dog that marks it's territory all over the place.

Roomy is looking at buying a house in the next couple of years, at which point he plans to get a stud from the same breeder (different parents) and breed them himself. Going to name the boy Champ
