Why didn't the airbags in the benz go off?

the passnger one looks like it did.. but the driver side i dont think did

:nono:That's the glove box that is open and the airbag should have come out of the top of the dash...

neither bag went off in the Merc. Side impact, not front or rear. You can see the bag on top of the dash on the passenger side. That truck doesnt have much damage compared to the Merc.
