wow...I see I have stirred the pot on the forum fagwagon...amazing how they flock together thinking they might have a kill lol No digging holes here, car enthusiast I am. I love cars. I won't claim to be an internet guru like the thread avengers but I do have access to the internet. The next thing I know you'll claim to be an all inclusive internet gang..wtf you're going to shut up my lcd screen or shop my IP address to China?? Get real. It's a forum, a place of discussion and not a popularity contest for adults. I love it when members talk about "WE" as if they are all sitting in the same room discussing a forum topic and coming to the same conclusion. I guess they really do feel like a gang. Maybe they are just text messaging, sending emails or on conference call about each thread they DEEM important. Hell, this is just a good way to pass the day when you're away from work and bored IMHO. Besides being able to read some really good threads and find a deal or two--forums can't be beat. You just have to weed through the weeds to see the flowers huh.

once again simpletons..back on topic...please post in regards to the wonderful Charger.

Charger's steering column is a German Mercedes-Benz item, made available to Dodge via parent DaimlerChrysler. That's good because it provides tilt and telescope adjustments as standard equipment. Some cars provide only tilt.
But that's also bad because it saddles you with the awkward Mercedes-Benz cruise-control lever. Its markings are too small and hidden by the steering wheel rim. It's too close to the turn signal lever and is easy to hit by mistake, causing the car to accelerate when you only meant to signal a right turn.

Only other significant hardware shared with Mercedes-Benz: differential and some gears inside the Chrysler-assembled transmission.

Kenny, if you get a chance check out the system install done by Stretch over on the chargerforums. You've been a member for a year now so I'm pretty sure you read that thread. STR8 wheel prices are starting to come down now so you'll always find a deal on one of the forums.
