I'm a car enthusiast, I can generally find something good about any car, including the GTO. GTO's have tons of parts available to quickly make them a 12 second car. Downside is the front wheel drive and broken transaxles. You can't beat the price of a fully loaded GTO but the entire dash has more plastic than the chrysler go figure. Now, the Challenger and new Camaro are going to make a push in 08 which should be interesting. On the downside the new $70k Nissan GTR will be out doing 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds.

so.. as a "car enthusiast" you should know the gto is rwd.. not front as you say... right? right?

If you don't mind me asking, what type of work do you do?

Clerical, $10/hr, I get out of school at 12PM (on the job training) and work till 5-6PM a day. Car payments for 6 years with low interest made this affordable for me. I also do website development on the side.

The Charger was the only all-around car I could be happy with stock. System is nice, it's fast, looks pretty nice, great aftermarket (even though I shouldn't be modding it, heh). Yeah, Passport 8500... love it. Going to hardwire it into the car soon.

Was going to get a GTO, but was only happy with the Impulse blue exterior/bermuda blue interior... and to find one was hard, and they were expensive. That and I felt like an idiot for considering the '04 LS1 model when the '05 LS2 models are so much better. But... the price was a big factor. Not to mention they all look the same to me.

I know the GTO is badass but I really have never been a fan of its asthetics.

Yeah, not much you can do to make them look any nicer. 4-door car made more sense for my lifestyle anyways.

which if you've ever used, sucks ****ing monkey dick. just cause you can gives hints to it, doesn't mean it reacts anywhere near a true manuel. shit will decide, if and when your request, is good enough for it.

It actually is quite responsive.

I found it to shift fine, but what I didn't like was the lack of "feel" when you shift...

Yup, that "lack of feel" you refer to is my only complaint about AutoStick.

you failed to see where i stated "db-r's" picks.. i in no way, shape or form repair amps, nor do i claim to, "shrek" and sorry.. but the gxp and gto are NOTHING alike.. motor is different, ******, driving wheels, body, etc.. i would say that error makes us.. 2-0.. considering the ****** IS crap in those cars.. but, hey, keep up the silly insults.. most of us are laughing at you digging this nice little hole keep going you funny little car enthusiast you!
