Dude you can fight it without a lawyer. I rear ended a guy because my brakes basically failed on me and i explained to the judge what happened and she didn't give me nothing no ticket , fine or pts. on my license. Sometime's the truth is best to tell.

in my situation i dunno, heres how it might go. "It was late at night and everyone was slowing down so I was too, I didn't notice I was 1 sec behind the front car..(right when im about to explain more" AH GUILTY!!! NEXT!!!

Don't think so negative on it man read up on the law's just like you came to be famillarized *sry if that's spelt wrong* with the gun law's . do your research and tell em the truth what happened and they might just give you a break maybe i just say hope for the best and do your research before you were to go to court.

Wrong.

I don't know if it's a law or not, but it's very, very, very stupid to pull over next to the passing lane on a highway. Unless your tires have literally fallen off, it's always smarter to pull over on the right hand side.

Sounds like a BS ticket to me and that he is just trying to meet a quota. I think someone else mentioned it.

You were in the wrong though after he flashed his lights. You should have yielded to the right unless like JimJ said your tires have fallen off.

I would fight this ticket though. Personally me I have never heard of a OBS watch or whatever its called, so unless you were following traffic to close then I think you may get out if it as long as your honest. I think i have no chance of fighting it unless I talk to a lawyer and pay more then what the ticket cost so i dunno. court date is 4-20-07 have to be there by 9am.!!!

I used to ride and was careless at times with my bike and then I got very responisble with it and then sold it.

Thing is most young crotchrocket riders dont care. They just want to speed and try to impress who ever. I will never forget the dumbass kid riding up route 5 in the middle of the lane doing at least 80! Speed limit was 55 and to top it all off was doing a wheelie at that speed. I just wanted to cut his dumbass off. I have to much a guilty concious though.
