got a 2dr. blazer help

ok...so i bought a 97 2dr blazer today...there are a few small issues with it that i can fix over time...but i have a problem that i want done today, the rear spare tire release will not work...by that i mean the handle to pop the bar so you can open the back...it seems stuck or locked, when i pull the handle it doesnt do anything...it feels as if the is something blocking it...any one know waht the prob is.

I had a blazer but it was a xtreme so the spare was in the inside...wish I had an answer for you

ok why did u go with the 2 door when more people told u to go with 4 door? But anyways wheres some picx of the truck?
