again, **** off. this is one stretch of road. i was just on a stretch where the speed limit was 55, then it jumps to 25 in seconds and the road still looks the ****ing same to me after driving for 2 hours. i wasn't reckless at all.

The point remains that he gave me a $260 ticket, my first ever. And I've been driving for 6+ years. He was a dick because there were two people that were driving the same speed, but he elected to give me the ticket. He was sitting in a 25 coming off a highway. He was probably sitting next to the first 25 mph speed limit, which I'm not even sure was there. Also, he was giving me the ticket as soon as he turned his radar on and put his donut down.

Well he had to pull someone. Dude, you were going 26 over the speed limit. You broke the law and got caught. Deal with it and stop *****ing.

ehh you do realize that if you do take this to court the cop will state you were doing 71+mph, and if you lose you will most likely end up paying the $460.

my first speeding ticket was doing 54 in a 30. iirc cop told me my ticket was around 310(not sure) but he dropped it down to 200+. i had no happy conversation with him or anything. just hi, here's my info, got told what i did, asked me to slow down, and i was on my way.

did my drivers class online and when i went to pay my ticket it was less than $100.

Since when does a cop tell you how much your ticket is? I always had to call the # on the back of the ticket 24-48hrs after it was issued to get the cost.

last time I checked your major had NOTHING to do with the law, so you can get an oscar by reciting a great speech and chances are you get owned in court. You think judges and court magistrates were born yesterday? Hire a laywer...last time I'm saying it.

You broke the law doing 71 in a 45 or a 25 whatever. Ever hear of a thing called a speed trap? Learn it and the learn from the mistake. The cop is doing his job and he gives you the lesser ticket and he is the dick? Humm...........

Also the whole why did you pull me over and not the others. Ah last time I checked, he is one person. So I am sure everyone is gonna see the lights and just pull over correct?

Just pay the fine and move on and learn from it.

Also the guy telling you to pay it is a future lawyer or something on those lines. So yeah.
