They do it on the main roads here but they announce it and put signs up. My stepfather said that they have to allow you the opportunity to not go through the checkpoint. Like it will be on a big main road but there's other side roads you can turn down to avoid it. IDK, doesn't seem to make a bit of sense to me so I agree, I think they're just profiling.thats profiling like a bitch. here they only do it on not-so-busy roads, and every car stops and shows papers.
