Got .95cf, should I go 10"ported or 12"sealed?

Hi there, I have a .95 cf box.

What will sound louder and hit the low notes better, a 10" ported or a 12"sealed given for example the same subwoofer line?

That is a misconception.

 

For .95 I would prefer a 12 sealed.

I have an almost new 12" TC7. Have heard that they do great in a sealed box

For that size your best bet would def be 12 sealed, you just dont have enough room to fit a ported box. You may wanna look into shallow mount subs to take up least amount of box space.

Or you can do a 12 an add bout a pound of polyfill.

8's would hit the highs even better, but if you want really better highs use tweeters:graduate:

I liked the way my 8"s perform. You could easily seal two in .95ft^3.
