moving from (1)12w6v2 to (1)13w6v2

i have a jl 1000.1 pushing my single 12w6v2 in a built to spec ported enclosure and it sounds great but ive become some what use to it. So i sold my 12w6v2 and got a 13w6v3 for $80 more when what i sold my 12w6v2 for which was a steal. i havent installed it yet because i have not build a/an enclosure for it. ive heard a 13w7 before and it hit dep but wasnt as clean as the 12w6v2 i had. So im asking is the 13w6v2 gonna give me the low end and SQ???? any 13w6v2 owners in here?

In my opinion it was a bad move. 1 inch isn't gonna make that much of a difference.

no no no.... the difference between the 12 and 13 is WAY more than just an inch... the effective piston area is 9.6"^2 bigger and the Xmax is .2" longer, so it moves about 70 percent more air.

think about it like this... lets say you spent 500 on your 12... getting 70 percent more should cost you 350 dollars more, so if you don't think its worth 80 more than thats your problem
