Sony ex51's have alot of bass but IMO it can be muddy at times.

You can somewhat "balance" the sound by pulling out the paper which prevents wax build up...but then the highs really stand out.

i think the V-Moda's have more bass than the Sennheisers, but they are in your ear and the sennheisers sit on the out side

but they have some nice bass for headphones, i listened to the v-moda's then hooked up my creative zem headphones...WOW, i dont see how i even used those creative ones

i would deff buy the bass freq's again

I got my Senn cx300's today from amazon...I really like them. They own my Sony ex51's and IMO sound better than the Shure e2c's I briefly had.

I agree. the Senn's I have now sound excellent. I did alot of research prior to buying there and I'm glad I have them. Plus, they are ultra-lightweight and don't fall out unlike the Shure's I had.
