well, settled for a loaded 2006 HHR LT2 for $9100, not a bad little car. Not an suv and not 4wd but it is frontwheel drive with traction control so it should do alright in the winter:

I have found plenty in my area on autotrader.com under 10k with 30k on them, 2006 or 2005.

Been looking for weeks now and we just got our taxes done, so should be able to get something decent.

Really? Are you talking full size or smaller? I mean I have a Scion they technically call an 'SUV' but it is tiny. When I think SUV I think Tahoe, Explorer, Grand Cherokee, Escalade, Sequoia etc not HHR, XB, Crossfire, Jeep Liberty, Honda CRV.

I was suprised. They are an econo car, but with all the options its not a bad ride, not too bad looking either. Pretty small though.

I sell used cars, you have to be joking. You people always wanting new shit and not wanting to pay new shit prices.

You need to change some of your wants.

A motor really isn't broken in till a bit after 20k anyways. You pay quite a bit more for 20-30k than you do around 50k.

Why does it have to be over 05? You pay for that.

Also the whole it being a good car costs more than a piece of shit. It being a pos will cost you more in the long run though.

Maybe you'll luck out at a police seized auction, but it's unlikely.
