Merry Christmas to ME! 50" Samsung 1080p plasma

so yah i decided to get myself a christmas present. needed a bigger tv cuz my 37" just wasnt cutting it anymore. i went to HHGregg and picked up this $2000 tv for $1499. my buddy that runs soundcheck just so happened to know the manager of the store so he cut it for me for almost cost. also picked up a samsung bluray and 2 hdmi cables for 1932 total after taxes! woot!!!

my 37 compared to the 50

the wife and i are going to go out now to find a tv stand since this crappy walmart thing i have now barely holds the tv up haha.

I'm a huge fan of getting gifts for yourself for christmas. I'm extremely nice to myself this time of year. and that's saying a lot, because I'm extremely nice to myself all year around.

lol yah! hahaha i need a digi cam bad!!! this thing is craptastic. it says its an 8.1 megapixel but the thing takes crappy *** pictures i dont know if setting are wrong or what. it just sucks.

dude you're going to love it, I have the LNA950 LCD and it's pure visual perfection. Be careful now because you're going to want a killer home theater and not those croppy pani/sony monitors. Jesus christ a good front sound stage RF, LF, C, Receiver start at basically 2k. Then you need the rears and a sub and that is almost another 1.5k for decent quality.

how can you watch that TV with that rats nest of wires down there? Pet peeve of mine. Wires are to be hidden at all costs!
