Find a 4.0L Grand Cherokee
My parents '93 with 270km's+ has NEVER let them down.
My buddies '95 with 205km's+ has never let him down either.
And my previous '88 Cherokee with the 4.0 lasted 380km's+ and took a downshift into second doing 120 (automatic, my dumbass fault, long story) to kill it and even then with a bent valve, possibly cracked piston, etc. it STILL ran.
The new body style (98+ I think) is also fairly modern and stylish and can easily be had for under 10k.
