How to convert MTS, M2TS, TS files into MKV on Mac?
High definition movies in 720 or 1080 pixels width format, usually MTS format are often encoded and packaged as a Matroska format video with a MKV file extension.Then what is MKV? Maybe I will show you something about it.
MKV is a open standard free container format developed by Matroska. It can hold different types of videos and audios, that is to say, there might be a AVI file contained within the MKV file. An MKV file contains compressed video and audio streams along with an encoder. A codec is required to play this type of file.

Step 1: Download and install MTS to MKV Converter for Mac
Free download the software and install at the specific location, and then have a test. Once you have run it, a gray interface will appear as follows:

Click Add File on the top of the panel to browse your computer hard disk to import the MTS file to convert, you can import a bunch of files at once, you can also delete unwanted source files by clicking Delete at the middle of the panel.
Step 3: Select format and the directory
Click the drop-down list of Profile beside Settings tab on the bottom of the panel to select MKV as the output format, and then click Browse beside Open button to browse your computer hard disk to specify the location to store the converted files. Moreover, if you want to integrate several files to be one single file, you can tick "Merge into one file".
Step 4: Crop video
Click Crop on the top of the panel beside Effect button to pop up a Crop window, where you can crop the file in the following two ways:
Setting aspect ratio: You are allowed to select an output aspect ratio from Zoom drop-down list. There are four choices available: Original, Full Screen, 16:9 and 4:3.
Setting the values: Type the value directly or set the value in Left, Right, Top and Bottom area to set the position of the cropping frame.
Step 5: Conversion
After all the editings have been done, click Convert to start converting automatically. The time taking varies depending on your project.

am going to
going to build a ported when i have the time... was just curious what people would have to say / suggest ya know?
future box is probably going to be anywhere from 2-2.5 cuft @ 32-35hz

wow the 2 guys who said type x should go jerk each other off. There are many better subs. A good ? to ask is what is your price range. There are so many many subs to out wang a type x
Audioque SDC2.512 would be pretty good. not too crazy and not too expensive. had a type r before and its a pretty good upgrade but listen to the others and get a better box built. something ported.

that what my first thought was.
