Good SQ AMP for RE SE 10??

I currently have a Planet Audio amp hooked up to my RE SE 10. The amp is a refurb that I bought off ebay several years ago. I'm in the market for a new one but don't know what to get. I would like something fairly small and not too awfully expensive. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I like my sub but its not as 'tight' as i expected. Can this be caused by the amp or is it mainly the sub itself?
