I have a pair of the Hifonics Zeus ZXi 6.5C and they both crapped out on me. The right bass speaker started crackling about two or three months after instillation. I just unplugged it from the amp because the crackling was driving me nuts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/pissed.gif.9f665f96bc89e98e708dabd4580bb591.gif and I didn't have the time or money to replace them. Then about four months after installation the left bass speaker would turn on and off. I switched it to the other side to test to make sure it wasn't just a loose wire and it was not. It now stays cut off all of the time.
Does anyone have any ideas of why these speakers are doing this? I ordered the same ones again because they have very good reviews. My friend also has them and they are great. Even a guy in Best Buy told me that they were nice speakers. I don't think that I was playing them too loud, they just started to die.
Thank you.
