Good Songs?

Dream Theatre. Killer double bass and just a very badazz musical group. They have some of them 8 and 11 minute songs. Very cool music to jam to.

Which dream theater album do you recommend for bass and which do you recommend for the best actual music listening (lowest amount of screamo, and a song with a good amount of lyrics, although they are an instrument-minded band)?

Thanks.

I have Change of Seasons, Falling to Infinity and one other that I don't remember the title of. Change is one really live songs followed by a medely of cover tunes. Falling is all studio stuff as is the third one. IMO you can't go wrong with any of them.

Yes they are mostly instrumentally oriented (all Juliard trained musicians) but I find the vocals quite good as well. It's not some guy with no voice yelling at a mic like so many other bands are these days. These guys have talent polished with training. They remind me of Queensryche but technically better musicians.
