Good single sub for a taurus

Make sure that you get dual 4 ohm VC on those subs I noticed you saying you were gonna get a dual 4 for one sub, but you only get 900 out of the amp, so for two subs you need dual 4 and run all four in paralled for a 1 ohm load.

and a single12" / 15" type R can take 1k all day accordign to a few people who own this sub.

But 600 per woofer and ported is definitly the way to go!

nah I am going to wire the amp for a 2 ohm load. Something about a $200 1200 W amp running at 1 ohm that I just dont trust //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Besides.. He is not planning on amping his mids and highs....

hey man, i have the same amp (if its the bxi-1206d) and the same subs, and i would recommend that you get him a 15.. like the brahma mentioned earlier or maybe a fi Q or BL..

actually one of my buddies just got a Q with a memphis 1k amp and it is waaaay louder than my 2 r's.. so if i was you i would try to get him to get one of the 15's

btw i ran that amp at 1 ohm for a while and it was fine..

Well, started on the box today, heres what we have right now....

And with the amp and one of my old school Kicker Comp 12's.... Will finish the face tomorrow and the amp will be mounted, and the bottom of the amp rack will be removed to access the gains and other dials, and some channels in the bottom to route the wires in so the box can sit flat on top of the wires

Yea nice box. Please kick this guy in the nuts too. My worst experience was with my buddy. We spent four days of pricing, watching, looking, and planning his system and he ends up buying a cheap shucks special 8" kicker and buying a shitty amp from me for $100.......some people. Oh and he clips it all day long. I adjust his gains every time I get a chance and he puts everything to 11 as soon as I'm gone........dumbasses

ok, LOL I find this hard to beleive yet funny as hell. System is installed in the Taurus, and he says when the bass hits, his trunk opens LMAO I told him to adjust his latch but he does not get it.. Anyone ever had this problem? I am just DYING to see this one!

well in my taurus when i hit the trunk button it would open, but now after putting this AQ 15 back there when i hit the trunk button it dont open, i have to literally pry it open now.
